Hi all, we are glad to tell everyone,
the first chip which support Wii D2C chipset
released. It's named D2Ckey and from
the team behind official
Wiikey. 31 wires and 2 jumps installation seems like
X360 and PS2 Modchips, especially solder on the pins
of chipset directly. Anyway, we found out all
alternative solder points let installation more
easy. Here
is the diagram of D2Ckey for your information. More

Almost one year,
SONY
updated their slim PS2 again. We got one
of PSTwo JAP version from our friend. The update mode
number is
SCPH-7900Xa CB.
Lots of part of the
motherboard are new and different from
all V15 console (First one, the
motherboard size only half of previously
console; secondly, the BIOS and DVD
Controller IC alternative
points be changed again) We quickly made a
photo for reference! Anyway, more
survey are in progress ! NeoAsic will

think that
the most popular game console is Wii now, all
products and accessories of Wii be sold very
well. Today, we received one of the important part
of Wii ~ Wii Lens ! It's original brand new and 32
pcs in a tray package.
Here
are quick image for your first look. We installed
these Lens on different Wii console including JAP,
US and PAL version, all disk be booted fine with
there new lens. (also need to open the protect
bridge of Lens ) More details and images will be

there is a new Wii console whose 3 pins of chipset
(pin number 67,
68 and 69 ) had been cut
in the market including JAP, US and PAL console.
Now, install a modchip on Wii console become very
difficult. Today, we also received same console from
our friend "Bulu"
and made quick photos for your reference.

installation , you can solder a modchip on Wii
console whose 3 pins of chipset were cut now. There
are 2 methods : restore these 3 pins or grind the
chipset.

we just made few simple tools for all Wii chips
testing. There are many Wii chips in the market and
we need to test for survey one by one, so we made
this tooling on all JAP/US/PAL Wii console including
D2A, D2B and DMS chipset. It can save time on
installation and no need to disassemble Wii console.

We installed Wiid
chip on different region Wii console (JAP/US/PAL)
and upgraded the firmware v2.0 first. After
upgrading, you will get "Unable to read the disc"
message on the screen (it's correct and normal,
there is a new firmware with
graphic interface for
setting regulation coming!)
Then we tested some backups on each console ( NTSC/J
* 50, NTSC/U * 40 and PAL * 10 ) and made quick
review with Wiikey for your compare as following : |
